Georges selected for her dedication to the community, the law and her work ethic
CORAL GABLES, Fla. (Aug. 8, 2019) – Attorney Denise Georges at Coral Gables-based law firm Colson Hicks Eidson, was selected by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for its prestigious “40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers in South Florida” recognition. The award recognizes 40 outstanding lawyers in South Florida under the age of 40 who are committed to improving the community and dedicated to providing outstanding legal service.
Georges will be honored at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s 11th annual awards ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach.
Established in 1955, the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatments, and ensuring access to high quality, specialized care. For the past 10 years, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has recognized 40 lawyers under the age of 40 as a way to honor exceptional lawyers in the community while raising funds to support the foundation, the driving force behind the pursuit to find a cure.
“I am extremely humbled and honored to be recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and to be in the company of my fellow honorees,” said Georges. “I am also proud to do my part to help raise awareness to improve treatments and fund a cure for such an imperative disease that affects so many.”

Since joining Colson Hicks Eidson, she has represented victims that have been catastrophically injured as a result of negligence. In 2016, she was recognized by the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and received the Prosecution of Excellence Award for her diligence in handling high-profile cases.
