According to the Statesman, police officials reported that a rollover crash involving a passenger van that killed three people in October had a tire blowout that caused the vehicle to violently roll on Texas 130 near Texas 45 in Pflugerville, Texas.
The Austin-Travis County EMS reported that two people were ejected from the van: a man, who was around 70-years-old, and a woman, a passenger in her 50s. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Another man was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center in critical condition where he later died. No other injuries were reported.
Southbound lanes of Texas 130 remained closed as police investigated the scene.
