We are proud to announce that personal injury attorney and Colson Hicks Eidson partner Curtis B. Miner, Esq. was recently inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL). Curtis was inducted into IATL during the organization’s Annual Meeting, which was April 5-8, 2017.
What Is the International Academy of Trial Lawyers?
Founded in 1954, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers works to develop the science of jurisprudence, raises standards of courtesy, honor and integrity in the legal field, facilitate reforms in the law and promote the administration of justice.
Membership in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers is limited. Currently, IATL membership in the US is limited to only 500 Fellows. To qualify for membership, a Fellow must have demonstrated excellence in jury trials, appellate practice and trials before court. Lawyers on only invited to join the IATL after passing a comprehensive screening process that includes both judicial and peer review. Prior to his induction into the IATL, Curtis received high marks after being evaluated by the judges in his jurisdiction and his colleagues.
In addition to being inducted into the IATL, last year, Curtis Miner was named Lead Counsel for Personal Injury Track in the nationwide Takata airbag product liability litigation.
