The Kentucky Justice Association (KJA) held its annual convention and seminar from September 10-12, 2014 at The Westin Cincinnati. Through programs that provide legal education and help its members stay updated on legislative and judicial proceedings, the KJA, which was founded in 1954 and has over 1400 members, works to ensure Kentucky families receive quality legal representation.
During the KJA convention, Colson Hicks Eidson’s Julie Braman Kane led an educational session titled Trucking Accidents – Proof of Damages. Julie Kane’s session, which took place on Thursday, September 11, covered proof of damages in both catastrophic injury and wrongful death trucking accident cases.
In addition to the educational sessions, the KJA convention included several other events:
- Welcome Reception
- Golf Scramble
- Women’s Caucus Lunch
- President’s Reception & Auction
- Awards Luncheon
